To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland when he last met the Prime Minister of Eire; and what subjects were discussed.

I last met the Taoiseach when paying him a courtesy call in Dublin on 28 November 1989. It was not the occasion for discussion of substantive business.

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what subjects he expects to discuss at his next meeting with representatives of the Government of the Republic of Ireland.
