§ Mr. Kenneth CarlisleThe Government's policy on the use of recycled materials and renewable energy is set out in the White Paper, "This Common Inheritance" (Cm 1200). The MOD is about to bring into use a further range of recycled stationery. We aim to send for recycling non-hazardous waste which can be beneficially recycled without disproportionate cost.
255WWe have a long-standing record on the pursuit of energy efficiency and we monitor developments in the field of renewable energy technology. We are studying sites in the United Kingdom which may have potential for wind powered electricity generation.
