§ Mr. RentonThe Office of the Minister for the Civil Service, which forms a part of the Cabinet Office, regularly seeks customers' views of the effectiveness of services provided. In addition the following opinion surveys have been conducted since 1 April 1990:

- Pilot Study on Undergraduate Attitudes to Civil Service Careers
- Consultants: Cragg, Ross and Dawson Ltd.
- Conducted: Summer 1990.
- Study of Serving Staff's Attitudes to Civil Service Careers
- Surveyors: Institute of Manpower Studies
- Conducted: Summer 1990.
The remainder of the Cabinet Office has not conducted or commissioned any opinion surveys during that time.
