§ Mr. Ernie RossTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what action he intends taking as a state signatory to the fourth Geneva convention if the Israeli Government proceed with their declared intention to deport members of the Palestinian civilian population of the west bank and Gaza who are protected persons under the provisions of the fourth Geneva convention.
§ Mr. Douglas HoggWe have made it clear that any such deportations would violate international law. We urge the Israeli Government not to proceed with them.
