§ Mr. FallonFigures are as follows, taken from budget statements for 1990–91 published by local education authorities under section 42 of the Education Reform Act. The figures are applicable only for authorities with statutory schemes for the local management of schools. There are no figures for four outer London boroughs; three of these do not as yet have statutory LMS schemes in force (Croydon, Hillingdon and Newham). Waltham Forest has not yet published its section 42 budget statement. Westminster is currently the only inner London LEA with a statutory LMS scheme.
