§ Mr. BrookeThere is no political vetting. However, under the terms of the policy reflected in the written reply of 27 June 1985 by the then Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, public funds have been denied in a total of 26 cases. On further review funding has been restored in four cases. It is not Government policy to reveal details of individual cases.
