§ Mr. DorrellNo specific guidance on the use of irradiated food in hospitals is being issued. In common with all other catering establishments health authorities who choose to use irradiated products will be required to so inform consumers under the requirements of the Food Labelling (Amendment) (Irradiated Food) Regulations 1990.
