§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyIn implementing our policy for community care, social services departments and national health service authorities will be required by the National Health Service and Community Care Act to liaise in planning services. They will also need to work closely in the development of assessment and care management arrangements for the delivery of services to individuals.
