§ The Minister of State, Department of Trade and Industry (Lord Hesketh)The new building for the British Library at St. Pancras will cost a total of £450 million in cash. By the end of financial year 1990–91 the cash expenditure on the building will have reached some £173 million. Rounded estimates of future annual expenditure are as follows:
