§ Mr. FreemanGovernment grant to London Transport will be nearly £2.5 billion over the next three years. This should allow LT to invest approaching £3 billion over the same period. Of the grant, £748 million is allocated to the Jubilee line extension and £164 million to the east-west crossrail. LT has yet to decide how it wishes to allocate the remainder.
