§ Mr. MacleanThe systems were described in the Farm Animal Welfare Council's assessment of pig production systems. The council drew attention in particular to the welfare problems with stall and tether systems for dry sows, the "sweat box" system for keeping growing pigs and multi-tier cages for weaners.
