§ Mr. LangMy Department takes account of the subject matter and purpose of each consultative document in deciding to whom it should be sent. Right hon. and hon. Members are included where they are likely to have an interest. In appropriate circumstances consultative documents are placed in the Library and the attention of the House is drawn to this. Moreover, media publicity is often given to consultative exercises thus enabling anyone with an interest to obtain copies of documents and submit views.
