§ Mrs. ChalkerThe Overseas Development Administration is funding two research projects on this topic, both based in Africa. They are "Analysis of the Demographic and Economic Impact of Aids in the Developing World" by Professor R. M. Anderson of Imperial College and "Community Coping Mechanisms in the face of exceptional Demographic Change" by Dr. Barnett and Professor Blaikie of university of East Anglia with Dr. Obbo. The results are expected to be published during 1991, but may not be conclusive.
