§ Mrs. ChalkerWe have announced a know-how fund of £20 million for the Soviet Union. Its aim will be to transfer British skills and expertise in areas essential to economic reform, particularly food distribution, energy, small business formation and financial services. Wider financial assistance will be a matter for multilateral action in the light of the EC and IMF studies of the Soviet economy now under way.
