§ Sir George YoungThe code of practice, which was referred to in the previous answer and which is annexed to DOE circular 18/89, includes a definition of "underused land." However, the criteria for entry on the statutory registers proposed in the recent consultation paper "Encouraging the use of vacant public sector land", including the criterion relating to underused land, would be the subject of separate consultations in due course.
