§ Mr. Peter LloydNo request was made to the Home Office, but I understand that Mr. Richards was escorted by the police through Heathrow airport on 23 April to prevent congestion caused by the extensive media interest. No additional costs were incurred, and, contrary to some press reports, none of the police officers was armed.
