§ Mr. MaudeDuring my visit to Hong Kong in April, I held no specific discussions about civil or military aspects of nuclear energy. I did, however, pay a visit to the Castle Peak power station, where I held discussions with the China Light and Power Company, whose interests in the nuclear power station under construction at Daya bay in southern China was mentioned in passing.
