§ Mr. FavellTo ask the Secretary of State for Transport when he first requested that Stockport metropolitan borough council convey to his Department the land at Travis Brow, Stockport, near to the M63, referred to in a letter from the Minister for Roads and Traffic to the hon. Member for Stockport dated 22 June 1989; and when he expects the transaction to be completed.
§ Mr. AtkinsAugust 1988. Conveyance of the council's title to the land has proved to be a complex matter. While we are pressing to complete as soon as possible, there are a number of outstanding items still to be resolved.
