To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) how many children are living in forms of temporary accommodation, excluding bed-and-breakfast hotels, in England and Wales, having been accepted by their local authority as homeless;

(2) how many children are living in bed-and-breakfast accommodation in England and Wales, having been accepted by their local authority as homeless.

The number of children among the homeless households in bed-and-breakfast and other forms of temporary accommodation in England are not reported by local authorities and my Department has no estimates.
