§ Mr. BaldryMy right hon. Friends, the Secretaries of State for Energy and for Scotland announced proposals on 9 November 1989 to create separate nuclear generating companies from the assets of the CEGB and SSEB. Both companies, Nuclear Electric plc and Scottish Nuclear Ltd., were successfully vested at the end of March this year. There are no plans to change the present ownership of any of the nuclear power stations in the United Kingdom.
