§ Mr. Heathcoat-AmoryThe National Rivers Authority is currently preparing its first corporate plan. My officials are in discussion with the authority about this and about resources generally. The Government are committed to ensuring the NRA has the necessary resources to carry out its functions effectively. Grant in aid to the NRA for 1990–91 is £93 million.
