§ Mr. Peter LloydApproximately 22.5 per cent of people employed in Hong Kong work in the eligible occupations mentioned in the explanatory note; others may be able to apply in due course in the residual category of the general allocation section. It is not possible to say at this stage what proportion of those mentioned above will meet the eligibility criteria set out in paragraph 4(1) of schedule 1 to the Bill.
