§ The Prime MinisterAgenda for the European Council are not formally set but the issue of economic and monetary union is next likely to arise at the meeting on 25–26 June. The European Council last discussed EMU at its meeting in Strasbourg on 8–9 December the results of which I reported to the House on 12 December at column 857.
