§ Mr. Peter LloydThe receiver for the Metropolitan police district is satisfied that the terms of the Riot904W (Damages) Act 1886 apply. The Metropolitan police announced on 2 April that any person who believed that they had a claim for damage to a house, shop or building or any property in such premises should make a claim to the receiver, G9 branch, 2 Bessborough street, London SW1V 2JF within 14 days of the disturbance on 31 March, or submit notice of intention to make such a claim.
