Oil and Gas Revenues

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, pursuant to the reply by the right hon. Member for City of Chester (Mr. Morrison) on 29 March,Official Report, column 281, if he will list the revenues accruing to the Exchequer in respect of crude oil, natural gas liquids and gas for each of the years 1980 to 1989.

Government revenues from United Kingdom oil and gas production cannot be apportioned between crude oil, natural gas liquids and gas. The available figures are as follows:
