To ask the Minister for the Arts what further progress he has made with the Glory of the Garden programme.

I have recently announced major changes in the structure of arts funding in the English regions. These will build on the changes begun in the Arts Council's Glory of the Garden initiative and will include a further substantial shift in grant-giving responsibilities from the Arts Council to the regions.
