§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonThe maximum hourly rate allowed by the accountant in bankruptcy other than in exceptional circumstances in assessing claims for the remuneration of trustees and their staff is the same as that published by the Law Society of Scotland in respect of charges by the legal profession for similar work. The present Law Society rate is £62.
