§ Mr. MacleanProducts containing Simplesse would be subject to the Food Labelling Regulations 1984. The regulations require a precise product description to ensure that the purchaser is fully informed about the true nature of the food, and can distinguish between similar foods. The presence of Simplesse would also need to be indicated in the list of ingredients.
