HC Deb 05 April 1990 vol 170 c804W
Mr. Barry Jones

To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will visit Clwyd county and borough councils to discuss residents' problems concerning insurance claims after the inundation by the sea in the March floods; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Redwood

No. Neither the Department nor the Association of British Insurers has received any representations about problems on insurance claims but if the hon. Gentleman writes to me about residents' concerns, I would be glad to look into them.
