§ Mr. RobertsThe Workers Educational Association has played an important role in the provision of adult liberal education in Wales for many years. There continues to be a need for this type of provision and I have concluded that in the context of the educational scene in Wales, Welsh Office support for Workers Educational Association activity in Wales should continue. Discussions will be held with the Workers Educational Association however on establishing a new funding regime which reflects more directly the level of course provision and student participation in Wales.
