Earl FerrersThe current average weekly pay of inmates in Prison Service establishments in England and Wales is about £ 2.65 per week. New rates of pay are about to be introduced, ranging from £ 1.75 for those who are incapacitated or for whom no work is available to £ 5.87 per week for those on maximum pay under various incentive schemes.
