§ Mr. NichollsRegulation 7 of the Reporting of Injuries Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1985 places duties on employers and others to keep records of every event which is required to be reported under the regulations to the appropriate enforcing authority. Inspectors from the Health and Safety Executive have examined samples of the record kept by the Channel tunnel contractors and are satisfied that the contractors have complied with the requirements of the regulations.
