§ Mr. Mellor[pursuant to his reply of 12 March at column 18] : I now understand that the figure of 64 given for the number of attempted suicides at Leeds prison during 1989 Sir was incorrect. The correct figure is 58. The table is an amended version of table A in my earlier answer.
