§ Mrs. Gillian ShephardMonitoring and evaluation of performance at Glasgow indicates that claims for income support are being processed faster and more accurately than before relocation of the work from London.
There are currently no plans to extend benefit-processing work away from south-east England beyond the 21 London offices already identified for relocation.
