§ Mrs. RumboldThe interim advisory committee's remit represents an increase of some 7.6 per cent. on the 1990–91 teachers' pay bill. the inter-quartile range of private sector non-manual basic pay movements for the 12 months ending in June 1989 was 6.3 per cent. to 8.5 per cent, with a median of 7.3 per cent.
