§ Mr. CormackTo ask the Minister for the Arts whether he is able to announce the publication date of the report of the reviewing committee on the export of works of art for the year ended 30 June.
§ Mr. LuceI have today presented the 35th report of the reviewing committee on the export of works of art for 1988–89. Copies have been placed in the Libraries of the House. I am particularly pleased such a prompt publication date has been achieved and I draw the attention of the House to the concise treatment given in the report to the role of the reviewing committee in the issue of export licences.
