§ Mr. FreemanThe Chief Medical Officer wrote on 11 October to remind health authorities in England about the national guidance issued in 1975 and 1979 about the appointment of hospital doctors to posts which involve termination of pregnancy or advice on termination. The Department will respond to any report of the Social Services Select Committee which is currently investigating this subject.
