§ The Prime MinisterA number of Departments have an interest in the matters raised by the report. My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment has asked his officials to prepare a co-ordinated analysis of how the JNAPC's recommendations bear on individual departments' responsibilities. Ministers will then consider collectively an appropriate response to the recommendations. Work will proceed as quickly as possible.
