§ Mr. MellorA survey of sight test numbers will be commissioned later this year. On present plans, the survey will be conducted by an independent market research company and a representative sample of people will be asked if they have had an NHS or private sight test since 1 April 1989. The results will be compared with information for previous years already held by the Department.
