§ Mr. Peter LloydFollowing the passage of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1989 I believe that effective steps have been taken to control the problem of dangerous dogs. The Act greatly improves the effectiveness of the courts' power to order the destruction of dangerous dogs and increases maximum penalties for offences.
