§ Mr. David ShawTo ask the Secretary of State for Transport when he expects to make an announcement on the route of the eastern section of the A20 extension into Dover; and when he expects the project to be completed.
§ Mr. AtkinsIt is hoped to announce the decision on the route shortly. The aim remains to complete the project in time for opening of the Channel tunnel in 1993 subject to the satisfactory completion of the outstanding statutory procedure.
