§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonReliable information is available centrally only for public housing authorities and for housing associations. As at 31 March 1989, the latest date for which information is available, these agencies provided some 26,555 sheltered houses representing approximately 2.6 per cent. of the total stock of these agencies (1,016,000).
