§ Mrs. ChalkerIn 1988 we provided £180,000 for disaster relief, following Hurricane Joan. In 1989 we have provided £80,000 for this purpose. Our share of European Community aid in 1988 was approximately £3.3 million. This included food aid, technical assistance for agricultural reform and emergency aid. No figures are available for 1989.
Details of amounts provided for projects jointly funded with British voluntary agencies are available for the financial year 1988–89 but not for calendar years 1988 and 1989. They are:
