§ Mr. Michael ForsythTo date, the Scottish Home and Health Department has been notified of two expressions of interest in possible self-governing status relating to a group of hospitals in Forfar and the Royal Scottish National hospital in Larbert. Self-governing trusts will remain an integral part of the National Health Service and they will not be "opting out" of the National Health Service.
