§ Mr. LilleyThe employee share ownership measures included in this year's Finance Act were generally welcomed, and we are confident that they will contribute to the continuing success of our initiatives in this field. While it is too early to assess their impact, the Inland Revenue has received a number of inquiries concerning the establishment of employee share ownership plans (ESOPs).
