Mr. Amess

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how may(a) males and (b) females have been (i) charged and (ii) found guilty of an offence under section 1 of the Genocide Act 1969 in each year since 1969.

No persons have been prosecuted under the Genocide Act 1969.

Mr. Amess

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he has any plans to review the Genocide Act 1969; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. John Patten

We have no plans to do so.
