§ Mr. NeubertEstimates of regional expenditure on research and development are not available and could be produced only with disproportionate cost. Estimates of regional expenditure on equipment in the United Kingdom for 1985–86 and 1986–87 are however given in table 6.9 of "Statement on the Defence Estimates 1989 —Volume 2".
