To ask the Secretary of State for Wales whether he will list, by health authority, the aggregated total figure for each district of estimated backlog maintenance, for the last available date.

The information requested is determined annually by district health authorities. They reported for 1988–89 the estimate of the cost of backlog maintenance for their respective districts in the following table:
