To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer when he next expects to meet the Confederation of British Industry to discuss the future level of business investment.

The Chancellor of the Exchequer regularly meets representatives of the Confederation of British Industry at which many issues are discussed. In the recent Autumn Statement forecast, business investment was projected to increase by 91/4 per cent. in 1989 and by 4½ per cent. in 1990.
