To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will make a statement on capital investment funding for St. Helens and Knowsley health authority in relation to capital investment funding in other health authorities in the Mersey region since 1974.

We do not hold this information centrally. It is for regional health authorities to decide how they allocate funding, both capital and revenue, among the districts. The hon. Member may wish to contact the chairman of Mersey regional health authority.
